Jimmy Stofer

Jimmy has played bass guitar for over 15 years, and is a teacher of bass, guitar, piano, music theory and ear training. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and Music Business at University of Colorado Denver. His musical background encompasses rock, pop, funk, blues and jazz, and he was the original touring bassist with Boulder’s The Fray. Jimmy has also played bass with Meese, The Flobots, Cary Brothers, John Common, and many more; currently, he plays bass with Rose Hill Drive, Dualistics and Weather Maps. He has toured the world opening for such bands as Weezer, The Pixies, Ben Folds, Paramore, Mutemath, O.A.R, The Killers and Spoon, and appeared on TV shows including Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Craig Ferguson, Good Morning America and Ellen. In 2006, Jimmy was featured in Bass Player Magazine.
